Requirements
The Brent Wilson Inspiring Hope Scholarship was created to provide financial support for a full-time, upper class student majoring in business. The recipient will be a resident of Shelby County, Tennessee, in good academic standing with a demonstrated personal, financial or circumstantial need.
The scholarship will be housed in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. Each year, the College’s scholarship selection committee receives the names of students who will qualify for the scholarship based on the stated criteria. Each application is carefully evaluated, and the student who best matches the criteria is awarded the scholarship. The funds in the scholarship are housed and managed by the University of Memphis Foundation.
Students can apply for the scholarship on Tiger Scholarship Manager from November through February each year. The Fogelman College of Business and Economics scholarship committee has until March to make the final awards for the following academic year.
